Eskimo One
Their song ‘Amazing’ is exactly that. Simple, clear, beautiful and just about the best lyrics you can imagine. They are really beginning to break the US charts with “Song of the Year” at this years FMQB Triple A Conference. The song Kandi, which The Los Angeles Times Magazine calls “beautiful and aspirational”, had sold nearly 150,000 tracks by early August 2010.

Kristian Leontiou their lead singer is from North London and has an amazing personal story so far. If they play in the UK any time soon just go and see them – that’s an order!

I’ve had a couple of recent requests about copies of my book on the Greenhouse Effect written in 1990 with John Ardill a Guardian journalist . At the time it was the first popular paperback on the issue and sold c. 40,000 copies. Out of print but there are lots of good second hand copies still available from Amazon. Frankly I’m amazed it’s still out there but here is the url
